Gees what a day. we managed to leave broken hill at about 1:30 after a very lenghly wait for breakfast (they ran out of bacon). I was super keen to hit the dirt for teh fist time and test the delica's tough reputation. We drove south from broken hill to a little town called yunta where we turned onto the dirt. Was super exciting. as we hit the dirt there was this massive sign in red saying warning you are entering a remote area. gave us details on road closures and suppliment requirements. anyway the scenery from yunta to where we camped half way to hawker was absolutly amazing.teaming with wildlife. We drove about 100 km along this dirt track literally 2 tyre tracks in the ground. sun started getting really low and as we are driving west, it was in our eyes so at about 5 pm we pick an area to camp literally in the middle of no-where. was a very eerie feeling because of the complete silence out there. so for thoes of you who were wondering, the temp only got to around 9 or 10 at its coldest. so not very very cold. anyway thanks to our new joiners. i hope you enjoy the photos. nic
This was where we camped for our second night
